Introduction to the Senior Healthcare Major
The Senior Healthcare Major provides integrated education in elderly welfare and long-term care, including theory and practical training, emergency response, and the rights and safety of older adults. Through this program, international students are supported in growing into Korea's care workforce, and are trained as certified care workers (요양보호사) equipped with professional knowledge and practical competence.
In parallel, Korean language and Korean cultural education are provided to improve international students' learning adaptability and to cultivate specialized professionals who can meet the demands of elderly care settings.
